Chronic Pain - Pain BC Information Line - Pain Support Line

This program is a toll-free phone service that connects people in pain to resources.
The Pain Support Line offers free confidential information, emotional support and resource assistance to empower people living with pain, their loved ones and organizations who are looking for support. Social workers and trained staff support with issues such as income, food security, pain resources, mental health support etc. The Pain Support Line offers support Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm (excluding statutory holidays). Callers are offered up to 3 sessions to provide follow up support and can also call back if a new issues arises. Ways to connect:
- Phone: call at 1-844-880- PAIN (7246) and leave a voicemail. You will receive a call back within 3 business days
- Online: complete self-referral form
- By Appointment: Schedule a phone call

Who can call the PSL?
- Residents of BC who live with chronic pain (pain that persists more than three months)
- Family, caregivers and loved ones of a person with chronic pain
- Health care providers and organizations looking for information on how to support a patient or client with chronic pain
